Care that meets mothers where they are
Uzazi Wellness Care exists for one reason: motherhood deserves better support than it usually gets.
Why Uzazi
Too often, mothers are left to figure things out alone. Pregnancy advice scattered across the internet. Postpartum recovery framed as something to "get through." Mental health treated as an afterthought. Feeding guidance laced with shame.
We started Uzazi Wellness Care because we believe every mother deserves gentle, professional, judgment-free support — and that support should come to her, not the other way around.
Our name, Uzazi, simply means motherhood. It's a word that carries weight, history, and tenderness — and we hold all of that in the care we offer.
The principles that guide our care
Mother-centered
Every plan starts with the mother — her story, her needs, her pace. Nothing is one-size-fits-all.
Judgment-free
However you feed, however you birth, however you parent — we support you without shame or pressure.
Trained & thoughtful
Our care specialists are trained, prepared, and continuously learning — because mothers deserve real expertise.
In-home, every time
We come to you. Every visit. Because care should fit your life, not interrupt it.
Continuity matters
The same care team across visits. Trust deepens, care gets better, and you don't have to re-tell your story.
Family-inclusive
We support mothers — and we welcome partners, families, and the people who love them into the work.
A trusted circle of specialists, working alongside us
We've cultivated relationships with vetted, experienced practitioners across maternal health and wellness. When your needs go beyond what our postpartum care specialists provide, we coordinate care with these trusted partners — so you never have to start from scratch finding the right person.

Honest about our scope
We believe being clear about what we don't do is just as important as being clear about what we do.
We are not your medical provider
We do not replace your doctor, midwife, or licensed therapist. We work alongside your medical team — never instead of them.
We do not diagnose
If something requires clinical attention, we connect you with licensed providers and stay alongside you through the process.
Let's start with a conversation
